Pan-Grilled Pears in Minted Honey Butter
A great waffle or pancake topping.
Serves: 4 to 6
4 pears, cored and sliced in ¼-inch slices
2 tablespoons butter
1 recipe minted honey butter (see Appendix)
Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pear slices and cook, stirring occasionally, until pears are soft and lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Add honey butter. Stir and toss until butter is melted and pears are well coated. Serve immediately.
